epiphone casino vc Why do you regret it?.
I like the larger profile neck and that it has Gibson USA Epiphone casino vc />Al Yes they do, but they are "limited edition" '61 reissue.
Hard to find now.
I'm kicking myself now for not trying them at least, years ago.
That's the one I was thinking about.
I notice it has the neck joined at the 16th fret, as does the "Inspired epiphone casino vc J.
Lennon" model I liked.
Which ones have the extra fret access?.
There were also the John Lennon "Revolution" model, with the finish off like he had it later, and the finished model as it was when new.
Do those have the fatter neck like the Inspired By.
Seems like there are a epiphone casino vc of differences between the reissues, I believe the standard reissue has 3-ply for the body instead of 5-ply, although that is omitted on the chart.

Al Click to expand.
Pretty sure the Revolutions were Tereda made bodies assembled in the US.
Sadly no long neck Casinos except the originals, tragamonedas casino lemonade even then they're rare.
The difference between 16 and 17 is actually quite noticeable to me, even though is only one fret.
There was a long neck ES330 a few years back and there's a P90 Riviera currently but it's not hollow.
Yes they do, but they are "limited edition" '61 reissue.
Hard to find now.
I'm kicking myself now for not trying them at least, years ago.
I think that all of these punch way above their price.
Having said that I've not played an ES330 or a vintage Casino, but those that have suggest that the difference is not night and day.
The "American" ones were built and finished in nitro in Japan, then had set ups and things attached to them by Gibson in the US.
I have an elitist.
I like it a lot.
But it's sort of a particular instrument, and I haven't really compared it to anything.
It took some fiddling and some mods, but I'm happy with it now.
But I have little conception of what a casino "should" be, only what mine is.
My only real concern with buying an older mij would be the nut width.
So know what you're getting into there.
And yeah, the neck join makes a difference.
Hope you don't need that many frets, because you probably aren't getting that sound if you want all of them.
That's what makes it a casino, and not a hollow 335, for better or worse.
Because it was the best off the bunch that I had.
And spec-wise it was almost perfect for what I want.
I had to sell it for financial reasons not because I didn't like it.
As best as you can remember, did they sound very different unplugged, or did they sound similar https://krimket.com/casino/working-at-crown-casino.html and different amplified?
As best as you can remember, did they sound casino oklahoma blackhawk shawnee different unplugged, or did they sound similar unplugged and different amplified?
Both, but mostly amplified.
The older one had a a more solid, woody tone unamplified.
The new one sounded a bit plasticky, like many newer guitars.
Plugged in, the '68 could really roar.
The Elitist was nice sounding, just not "put an instant smile on your face" nice.
Yes they do, but they are "limited edition" '61 reissue.
Hard to find now.
I'm kicking myself now for not trying them at least, years ago.
I have this model in Royal Tan.
It's a great guitar.
It's the second one I've owned.
First was good, but this one is excellent.
Super resonant, lightweight and a fatter neck, which is what interested me in the first place.
Also have a Gibson ES-330 that is an outstanding example.
I enjoy playing both equally.
It really does hold its own with the 330.
I should note that one mod I felt was mandatory was the raising of the p90s.
The neck sounded alright but the bridge was trash.
A few shims later mine were lollars and they were fine.
The neck came up a little and the bridge came up a fair bit.
So I still have the stock Gibsons in there after all this time, which is uncommon for me.
That low mid warmth more info with the hollowness of the body in an interesting way.
I always wanted to get a second epiphone casino vc to put minis or filters but it never happened.
I had a Elitist.
One of the best sounding guitars Ive ever owned.
Hated the lack of upper fret access though.
It was such a toneful guitar, that my complaints seemed minor.
Had to sell it for financial reasons.
Hope to get another or a ES-330.
I realized that owning a real deal 60's Casino is out of the question.
So, to everyone who has played or owned an Elitist and the older "Japanese made" Casinos.
Which one do you epiphone casino vc will be the better choice for the real deal vintage vibe.
At this point I have owned 3 MIC and 2 MIK.
And I still haven't found the "one".
Never tried the MIJ versions.
I think visually and spec wise they are the closest to the real deal.
What do you guys think?
I've owned a darker burst 90's MIJ and currently own an '88 Natural.
Those old MIJ's are the business.
I've owned a darker burst 90's MIJ and currently own an '88 Natural.
Those old MIJ's are the business.
Good, but wasn't like an older 80's MIJ.
I've also played vintage 60's Casinos and the epiphone casino vc MIJ stuff is go here, although the nitro doesn't feel quite the same, it's not quite epiphone casino vc silky.
But the tone and feel of the guitar is there.
Many were the 'China' of their day with all the setup and construction issues and now they have age issues piled on top.
Often priced as high as magic beans and a project waiting behind the shiny polish.
And then the fakes are rolling around out there because people are chasing MIJ at high prices.
Go after the modern Elitist you also have on your list.
As you try more of them see if you can figure out exactly what makes one guitar more of a 'bond' than another.
I've found neck carve how much wood is chipped casino ceiling decorations the back not width or depth epiphone casino vc pickups plus control electronics tone are important.
The neck is what it is from the factory, but the electronics can be swapped remember a volume pot has a 20% tolerance range, way more effect on pickup output than poly vs nitro.
Good, but wasn't like an older 80's MIJ.
I've also played vintage 60's Casinos and the older MIJ stuff is closer, although the nitro doesn't feel quite the same, it's not quite as silky.
But the tone and feel of the guitar is there.
It adds a sizzle and vibrates through the neck.
